How do you use the S buddy?
Quite simple! Inhale normally, then you exhale into the product. You have to create a seal around the opening of the product and blow threw the device. It does take more pressure then a normal exhale because you have to push the air through the carbon material. That said, it works remarkably well and reduces odor dramatically

Why do you call it the "S Buddy"?
Unfortunately FB is not a big fan of certain words in our community, so sometimes we change up the name a bit. It's still the same, authentic product we use ourselves. :)

Is there any reason I would buy this over making a version out of "household products"?
Yes it is far better than the homemade ones as there is no odor that escapes at all and you can't smell on the other end. It's a pro filter. This product is made with activated carbon, the same material used in water filters. Activated carbon is microporous enough that it traps odor molecules when you force air through it. This is how the odor is removed. It's much more effective than homemade. These are great if you really need to reduce smell, reduce residue, or have someone in the vicinity with lung sensitivity.
